How to Enable JavaScript

Your browser has disabled JavaScript. The SiteBuilder uses JavaScript to navigate through the site.

If you don't know what JavaScript is, don't worry. Just follow the instructions below to enable it. For further assistance, please e-mail webservices@authorsguild.org.

Windows:
  Internet Explorer 5.0 or 5.5
  Internet Explorer 6.0
  Netscape 6 or 7
 
Mac:
  Internet Explorer 5.0-5.2
  Netscape 6 or 7

Once you have completed the necessary steps, click on the Authors Guild logo at the top of the page to return to the log-in screen.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or 5.5 for Windows:
  1. From Internet Explorer's Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. Within the Internet Options window, click on the Security tab.
  3. Under the Security tab, select Internet.
  4. Move the slider to Medium.
  5. To close the Internet Options window, click OK.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 for Windows:
  1. From Internet Explorer's Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. Within the Internet Options window, click on the Privacy tab.
  3. Move the slider to Medium.
  4. To close the Internet Options window, click OK.
Netscape 6 or 7 or Mozilla 1:
  1. From Netscape's Edit menu, click Preferences.
  2. Within the Preferences window, click on the small arrow next to Advanced.
  3. Click on Scripts & Plugins below.
  4. In the section Enable JavaScript for, check Navigator.
  5. To close the Preferences window, click OK.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x for Mac:
  1. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
  2. Select Web Content from Web Browser menu.
  3. Select Enable Scripting from the Active Content window that appears on the right hand side.
  4. Click OK to exit.
Other browsers:

JavaScript should already be enabled by default.
