My recent writing is informed by the drowning of my nine-year-old son, an overseas and stateside teaching career, and my love of the natural world. A memoir titled "Water As Spirit" will soon be under contract, "Ice Cream" and other stories are out for publication and picture books are being considered. I have published teaching materials that enhance students love of books.

Visiting eighty some countries and interviewing various peoples regarding how they cope with trauma and everyday life has furthered my healing from tragedy. I have had the privilege of exploring a desert environment with a young prince in search of the wild sand cat.

I look forward to connecting with authors and other folks determined to engage their best selves.
