Young Readers Day: Meet a Real Author with Betty Bolté

Little book lovers can celebrate a day just for them with award-winning Huntsville author Betty Bolté!

Have you ever thought about being a writer? How do writers get their ideas? How do you even start writing a book? Come to the Eleanor Murphy library on November 12, 2019 at 4pm to meet a real writer!

Betty Bolté is the author of many books, including Hometown Heroines: True Stories of Bravery, Daring & Adventure. You’ll learn all about these girls who were true heroines of America’s history, including the World’s First Famous Cowgirl, a Civil War spy, and a young teacher who saved her students during the blizzard of 1888. You can ask Ms. Bolté questions about the heroines, how she found out about them, how she wrote about them, and more!

Contact Annie Phillips at 881-5620 or aphillips@hmcpl.org for more information.
