I'm a writer, ghostwriter and editor specializing in medicine, health, social issues and higher education, but writing on other subjects as well. My work includes books, articles, white papers and more. I'm the author of I Never Called It Rape: The Ms. Report on Recognizing, Fighting and Surviving Date and Acquaintance Rape (HarperCollins). First published in 1988, with a second edition in 1994, my book has been continuously in print since publication. It was named to several "Best Books" lists. In 2015, a Korean edition was published.
I have also edited/rewritten books for others, including a physician and medical educator, a business professor, a retired public relations executive and a corporate training specialist.
I'm a member of the Authors Guild, the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA), Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ) and National Association of Science Writers (NASW).
