Karen Rae Levine
Karen Rae Levine, an award-winning author, holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School in Manhattan. A mother of three and a former aerospace engineer, Karen's books are as varied as her interests. ALL ABOUT COLOR BLINDNESS: A Guide to Color Vision Deficiency for Kids (and Grown-ups Too) received four national book awards, including "Mom's Choice" and "National Indie Excellence." Her first novel, SISTER RAVEN, has been honored with two national book awards. Her historical fiction novel, THE CLAY MESSIAH, set in the weeks following the liberation of the concentration camp at Dachau, explores our fragile realities and the power of hope.
