Be it films, novels, television, articles or essays, my work is about finding the patterns that underly our past, inform our present and fuel our future.
I write in a slew of genres, from historical fiction, to nonfiction, to scifi.
I have two novels published by Random House, with a third in the series on the way. Echelon and Empyre mix scifi with spy thriller and look at how technology will impact society and self.
I just finished writing a new novel, set modern day. End Game is a geo-political thriller about the crowdsourcing and gamification of spying.
As a screenwriter, I have focused on historical fiction, my highlight being the series, Rome, for HBO. I did the historical research, co-wrote the story bible and was Executive Consultant on the series.
Beyond writing, I have also produced film and television. From creative development, to film finance and physical production, I am well versed in all aspects of the process.
I also now serve as a strategic advisor to Booxby, a book discovery service.
