About
Linda Collison's composite career has included registered nurse, skydiving instructor, author, writing coach and marketer. In the past she served as director of marketing and script writer for a small audiovisual production company based in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Linda’s articles and award-winning fiction have been published in a variety of magazines and she is the author of several novels. In 1992 Linda married Bob Russell, a fellow adventurer she met skydiving. Bob introduced Linda to sailing and together they’ve journeyed thousands of nautical miles on their own sailboat and as crew members aboard the Bark Endeavour, a replica of Captain James Cook’s famous ship. These experiences inspired numerous published articles and Linda’s historical novel Star-Crossed, a New York Public Library Books for the Teen Age 2007. Looking for Redfeather, her most recent novel, was a Foreword Reviews finalist for Indie Book of the Year - 2014 and has been adapted as a stage play.
