Simpson (1997, with Tom Lange and Philip Vannatter); A Washington Tragedy: How the Death of Vincent Foster Ignited a Political Firestorm (1998); Hollywood Confidential: A True Story of Wiretapping, Friendship, and Betrayal (2018); and Money, Politics, and Corruption in U.S. Higher Education: The Stories of Whistleblowers (2020). Also in 2020, Moldea published the third edition of his memoir, Confessions of a Guerrilla Writer: Adventures in the Jungles of Crime, Politics, and Journalism.
