Teresa Lynn Arrowood
Teresa has had a love for writing since she was an early teen. It hadn't occurred to her that she would one day release her first book in her 50's. At one point, a career perspective had once been in journalism. Her life took a different path as a 16 year-old when she entered a vocational school and studied nursing as a junior in high school. By the time she was twenty she had gone through nursing school and worked six years as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Working full time at a small rural hospital, she returned to school and graduated from the University of Rio Grand with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in 1990. In her forties she started a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and still intends on finishing. She has worked as a Critical nurse for over thirty years with experience in the Emergency Room, Recovery and Geriatric settings. In 2013, she wrote Standing in the Eye of the Storm and released it in 2014 through Titan Publishing after hearing a promotional speaker. The comment made in that speech sent her on, "What would you do if you were not afraid?" Her youngest child married and moved out so she spent her time writing for relaxation. The story of Isabella and Carter Blake is her first novel with a second to follow in a series, and another is in the works that may be a standalone titled Fire Chaser. It is hoped that it will be complete and ready for release in 2015. Teresa was born in Ohio in the Appalachians In 1964. Her elementary education took place in a small country school and high school in a small rural town, graduating in 1982. She and her husband of 25 years, still remain in the small town where she continues to work as a Critical Care Nurse. She and her husband have three children, and are also the grandparents of five. Her hobbies and interests include reading, movies, scrapbooking, photography and writing. Her favorite fiction authors are Nicholas Sparks, H.M. Ward, Julie Garwood and Lori Foster.
