Rob McCabe is a multi-tasked writer. He writes Fiction, Poetry, Plays and Screenplays. His poetry has been published in RFD magazine ( a small LGBT literary magazine) in 2015 and 2016; two of his screenplays, "Absolution" and "Fixated" were made into two independent short films which were screened during the International Suncoast Film Festival in 2015 in St. Petersburg, Florida. He has taught playwriting in small community groups and has even performed his one-man shows, "QUEER!!!" and "Peter & David: A Love Story" at the Northlands Storytelling Conference Fringe in Wisconsin, Celebration Barn in Maine, The Lehigh Storytelling Festival in Pennsylvania and The City of Imagination in Gulfport. Mr. McCabe is currently working on three chapbooks of poetry: "Mi Familia Loca", focusing on his family, "Voices From the Night Museum" a collection of ekphrastic poems and prose, and "Closets are for Clothes NOT People," a celebration of LGBT life. He is also at work on a screenplay of his story, "Gauloises, a Coke & You: A Ghost Story for Frank O'Hara."
