M A. Appleby
M. A. Appleby is an avid reader and mystery buff who enjoys traveling to faraway places. Just before retirement, life threw her a curve ball as she became her son’s caregiver after he suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury, a mere 12 days after moving to Florida with his family.
She learned how to cope with brain injury, high humidity, and ‘a not so empty nest.’ With her positive attitude, she took her family’s true life-altering event and blended it into a trio of books called A Whisper Mystery Trilogy – a story about a fictional family who goes on an incredible adventure of mystery, self-discovery and recovery.
Marjorie lectures about Brain Injury Awareness, and her journey of developing, writing, publishing, and marketing these novels.
