About

Librarian turned writer or maybe writer turned librarian I should say. By day I'm a librarian/archivist and genealogy specialist working in a public library. By night I'm an emerging children's book writer.
My purpose is to teach young children about history. My passion is to write for children so that they understand the rich history that African Americans have contributed to our country. I want African American children to see themselves in books and know that they too can aspire to be great.
