After spending 25 years in business—working on deals from railroads and restaurants to DVD publishing—I opted to pursue a mid-life crisis in creative writing, first and Manhattanville College’s MAW program, and later by earning an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Born in New York City, I have lived across America (MA, NH, IL, CA…), but now reside with his wife, Mindy, as empty nesters in Greenwich, Connecticut. Luckily, our daughter lives and works nearby in Manhattan. I hold a BS from Boston University and an MBA from Northwestern University. Since my transition from the hustle and bustle of business to the loneliness and doubt of fiction writing, I’ve been thrilled to have my short fiction and poetry published in numerous journals, including The Alembic, MacGuffin, Sanskrit, Coe Review, Colere, Valpariso Fiction Review, and many others. I continue to write short stories, but am hard at work completing one novel set between New York City and East Africa, and another set around a small town New England railroad…
