Rena Silverman is a cultural reporter who covers the personalities and stories behind the art world, with a special focus on photography. As a writer for the New York Times, NPR, National Geographic, BOMB magazine, Interview magazine, BlackBook magazine, and others, she has gone inside the controversies and breaking news of leading museums and galleries such as the Met Museum, the MoMA, Gagosian, Edwynn Houk, the International Center of Photography, the Smithsonian, and more. Her interviews and articles include features on photographers and art legends Sally Mann, Nathan Lyons, Inge Morath, Gregory Crewdson, Sylvia Plachy, Sebastiao Salgado, and Duane Michals.
