I have worked in all areas of the media: TV, radio, and print. I hold the rank of Professor Emeritus of Applied Psychology at NYU and maintain a clinical practice in Manhattan with children, teens, and adults. I am a developmental psychologist and psychoanalyst. In addition to having hosted eponymous radio programs on ABC Talkradio, I have worked as a feature reporter on WABC TV's Eyewitness News and WCBS TV's Channel 2 News at 5:00 PM as well as held positions as resident psychologist on CBS TV's Early Show and NBC TV's Weekend Today show. My experience includes stints as a Contributing Editor and Columnist at Ladies' Home Journal, Family Circle, and Sesame Street Parents magazines. I am the author of books for children, parents, and professionals. Most recently, I appeared as the on-air psychologist at the Morning Show on WPIX TV News in New York.
