I am a descendant of Irish immigrants who instilled in me a love of stories and storytelling. A writer all my life, I've written free-lance articles for newspapers and magazines, and sold fiction to Altered Reality, Pulp Empire, Abandoned Towers, Shadow Sword, Lesbian Short Fiction, Lost Worlds, Sorcerous Signals, Flashing Swords and Young Adventurers. My wife and I live in suburban Philadelphia, by the grace of our two cats, the real homeowners. I am currently at work on a novel that combines the fantasy/adventure of Robert E. Howard’s Conan with the feminist themes of Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid’s Tale.
