The 2023 Claymore thriller finalist at Killer Nashville and Poets & Writers 2020 fiction runner-up Maureen Egen Writers Exchange Award, Brenda Clark Thomas is the author of fantasy, post-apocalyptic, and psychological thrillers. She also writes speculative short stories with a literary bent. Her horror novella, The Surrogate, is now available on Amazon.

Her publishing credits include feature articles in The American Kennel Club Gazette and Dog World magazine.

She holds a BA in English and an MS in Psychology. At one time, she worked as a top-secret contract programmer/systems analyst for the Army.

A native Californian, she lives with her New Yorker husband and a sassy Shih Tzu near Tulsa, Oklahoma.
