Anita M. Halvorssen is the author of The Dirty Network, a climate change thriller. Anita is a member of the Lighthouse Writers, International Thrillers Writers, Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers, and Colorado Writing School.

Anita is Director of Global Legal Solutions, LLC, an international think tank and consultancy. She has taught international law at University of Colorado and sustainable development & trade and global climate change law & policy at the University of Denver. She has worked at the Royal Ministry of Environment in Norway and at the law firm of Holme Roberts & Owen, in Denver, Colorado. Anita is a member of the ILA’s Committee on International Law and Sea Level Rise. Furthermore, she does pro bono work for the Legal Response Initiative, in conjunction with the UNFCCC climate change negotiations.

Anita received her first degree in law from the University of Oslo, Norway, and an LL.M. (master's) and a doctorate (Doctor of the Science of Law, J.S.D. ) from Columbia University, New York.
