About

Mickey Goodman has ghosted/collaborated on five memoirs, including a children's book, and recently completed a sixth that will be published in first quarter 2020. She's also written more than 700 bylined articles for scores of publications including Reuters International, People, This Old House, Veranda, Southern Living, Womansday.com, Countryliving.com, The Atlanta Journal Constitution, Atlanta Magazine, CURE (American Cancer Society), PEDS (Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta), The Parkinson Report, and others. She is a columnist for Simply Buckhead, an upscale Atlanta magazine.

Ghostwriting seemed a natural addition from traditional journalism. It allowed Goodman to tell stories in depth, a passion she developed in the first grade when she wrote a story about Plassie, a favorite doll with a terrible case of the chicken pox.

Her first book, “Nine Lives of a Marriage – a Curious Journey,” with Holocaust survivor, Eva Friedlander, was the inspiration for two documentaries produced by the Breman Holocaust Museum and Jewish Family Services of Atlanta. Both have been widely viewed.

Her second memoir with Dick Mueller, founder of GMS, entitled “You Can’t Go Wrong Doing the Right Thing” will be published in 2020 by a Canadian press. Her third memoir “Drinking, Driving and Drugs: Secrets of a Serial Entrepreneur,” with Don Panoz is agented by Roger Williams of the Roger Williams Agency. Her children's book, The Mystery of the Lost Map for 6-10 year olds, debuted at #1 in its category on Amazon. Songs to accompany the book and the audio book are sung and read by country music singer, Larry Gatlin of the Gatlin Brothers.
