JuliAnne E Murphy
JuliAnne Murphy hails from a small town in Arkansas. She attended the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, receiving her education in Marketing in 1994. She has 22 years of experience in real estate development with a specialty of launching landmark real estate developments in the U.S., Panama and Costa Rica.
JuliAnne began writing in 2011 as a hobby, and slowly her writing career took shape in the publication of two books about moving to Panama: The Gringo Guide to Panama: What to Know Before You Go, and The Gringo Guide to Panama II: More to Know Before You Go. Both books hit #1 and #2 in the Books about Panama category on Amazon within weeks of their publication in 2012 and 2014.
JuliAnne's third book, a memoir entitled Dream Job, about her eight years in Panama as a female executive was released in June 2018, and quickly was named a #1 New Release by Amazon in the Biographies, Hispanic & Latino category.
In addition to real estate and writing, JuliAnne has found success in many aspects of her life – from serving as the Community Programs director for the Denver Broncos NFL stadium project to acting as the lead communications strategist for a $1.7 Billion Transportation Expansion Project (T-REX) in Denver.
JuliAnne has also served as Director of Marketing for London & Regional Panama in Central America, managing a massive redevelopment of a former US Air Force base into a new city. She has since partnered in real estate consulting in Panama and Costa Rica, working with major corporations like Axiom Development on luxury properties.
JuliAnne and her husband recently returned to live in her native Arkansas after living and working for ten years in Central America.
