Charles Mathes is the author of seven books including the "Girl" series of arts and antiques related mysteries from St. Martin's Press and the award-winning IN EVERY MOON THERE IS A FACE, a picture book for children illustrated by his wife, Arlene Graston. He works as an art consultant and appraiser in New York City.
