About

I have been writing a blog for five years: thefeministgrandma@typepad.com, where I write about raising a grandchild, aging, friends, family, books, and things that thrill or irk me. I have written three novels, and am deep into a fourth. The first, Dreaming the Marsh, will be published in September 2019 by Twisted Road Publications. I was a legal services lawyer for five years, and then faculty at a law school research center, where I did community advocacy, and taught poverty law and family law. I am a founding member of the HOME Van, which for fourteen years took food, supplies, and friendship to people living in the parks and woods, and now runs a food pantry.
