Sophia has been writing novels, short stories, and poems since she was still losing her baby teeth. Along the way she amassed an impressive 35 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards including two National Gold Medals for science fiction short stories. Her debut young adult novel Vinyl was awarded a BRAG Medallion. Sophia grew up in Iowa and now resides in New York City. She loves dogs, rain, and Star Wars.
