Jeffrey K. Walker
Jeffrey K. Walker, who holds a J.D. from Georgetown University and an LL.M. from Harvard University, brings a wide range of experience to his writing. After a short stint as a stock broker, Jeff served for twenty years in the United States Air Force. During his military career, he flew over 1,200 hours as a navigator on B-52 bombers, served as legal advisor to NATO’s air headquarters for the Balkans, practiced as a US Government lawyer in Italy, and served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in Wyoming. Jeff has published extensively on international, comparative and legal historical topics and has taught law at St. John’s, Georgetown and William & Mary. He served for eight years as founding and managing partner of BlueLaw International LLP, a law and development firm. His international development practice spanned projects in over 35 countries, including serving for one year in Baghdad as chief of party for the largest rule of law project ever funded by the U.S. Government. Finally succumbing to a long-held desire to write fiction, Jeff has published two historical novels in his Sweet Wine of Youth trilogy, the award-winning None of Us the Same and Truly Are the Free. The final volume, No Hero's Welcome, will be out in summer 2019.
