Wayne Miller is an author of 21 books, a journalist, a podcaster, a filmmaker and director of Ocean State Stories, OceanStateStories.org, a new non-profit, non-partisan news publication based at Salve Regina University’s Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy in Newport, R.I., that is devoted to the kind of in-depth coverage of important issues that is increasingly threatened as the hedge funds and chains continue to gut and close newspapers.
