I've done ethnographic fieldwork for more than 35 years, working throughout the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions and in other parts of the country. I've written numerous field reports for clients while also writing literary prose and poetry, as well as nonfiction essays for museum catalogs, professional journals, and other publications. I'm turning much of my attention now to writing poetry and nonfiction, developing a new fieldwork project to feed my writing, and exploring segues and correspondences among the various aspects of my work.
