Walter W. Pickut
Following a 40-year career in health care including clinical practice, teaching, publishing peer-reviewed medical research, and hospital administration, I retired to become a healthcare writer, newspaper editor, journalist, author and a general freelance writer. I co-authored a memoir with NY Broadcasters Hall of Fame radio personality, Jim Roselle, and am currently completing a co-authored, non-fiction Cold War spy-counterspy book. My hobby is writing science fiction. I am the proud father of three amazing children and married to a social worker who practices her craft skillfully to keep me fed, clothed, and generally presentable.
