Rod(ney) J. Moore
Rod Moore comes from steel mills, coal mines and farmland. Born in Ohio and raised in western Pennsylvania, he spent summers mowing, hanging drywall, harvesting mushrooms and exploring the outdoors on bikes, motorcycles and watercraft. The first member of his immediate family to attend college, Rod earned a B.S. in Communications and went on to achieve a M.A. in Journalism. Early on, he honed his craft at university publications and also interned with the City of Virginia Beach PR department.
Now Rod is an independent ghostwriter and copywriter whose clients include medical publishers, group purchasing organizations, healthcare consulting firms, medical device companies and marketing & communications agencies.
He has written books and Amazon Shorts under his own name and he ghostwrites books for healthcare executives and entrepreneurs. His reporting has appeared in over 40 national magazines and newspapers such as The Wall Street Journal, Advertising Age, and WIRED. He has over 250 articles in print and online. An occasional contributing writer to athenainsights.com, Texas Hospitals Magazine, and Modern Healthcare, Rod also has a background in marketing, television production and publishing.
