Hope Coulter is a fiction writer and poet whose work has appeared in such journals as North American Review, The Carolina Quarterly, and The Yale Review. Other honors include two Pushcart nominations, Arkansas’s Porter Prize for Literary Excellence, and the Short Story Award of Louisiana Life magazine. A native of Louisiana, Hope earned her AB at Harvard University and her MFA at Queens University of Charlotte. She teaches at Hendrix College, where she directs the Hendrix-Murphy Programs in Literature and Language, and lives in Little Rock, Arkansas.
