Dr. Buscho's book, "The Parent's Guide to BirdNesting" was published in 2020 by Simon & Shuster.

Her new book, to be published in November 2021, is a memoir written by two sisters. "How Will We Know When She Is Dead?" is the tangled tale of two very different sisters who bonded together to survive a crazy family, to triumph in adulthood, and finally to reckon with death.

A licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Buscho has a private practice in San Rafael, California where she specializes in family issues, and issues related to divorce, parenting, parenting planning, and co-parenting counseling. She has presented at statewide and international conferences for attorneys, mental health professionals, and divorce financial professionals on Collaborative Practice, forgiveness practices, and consensual dispute resolution topics to statewide, international and local mental health and service organizations and conferences, including the annual California Psychological Association and California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists Conferences, at the annual state conference of CP Cal, and the annual conference of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

In 2013 Ann was honored with the Collaborative Practice California Eureka Award, which recognizes those who have made significant contributions to Collaborative Practice in California. Collaborative Practice is one process model of conflict resolution without going to court.

Ann is also a co-founder of a residential treatment program for traumatized emergency responders and their families where she volunteers regularly. She graduated from Stanford University and the California Graduate School of Psychology. She has raised six children and understands the stresses the families often face.
