Richard V. Rupp
Richard V. Rupp is a published business author, who has turned his attention to writing crime novels. He is now retired from the business world where he was an executive in the insurance industry. He was involved in the development of many of the risk management and risk funding concepts currently in use today. His forte has always been research and technical writing. His business positions allowed him to travel throughout the United States and Europe; including trips to Bermuda and Cayman. He was born in Santa Monica, California and brought up in a Hollywood movie industry family. He rode street cars through orange groves in Los Angeles to attend Hollywood High School. He earned the AA degree from Los Angeles City College, and the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation from the American Institutes. Dick and his wife Coleen reside at Ironwood Country Club in Palm Desert, California.
