Diana Reep is a writer with graduate degrees in English from The University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee. As a Professor of English at The University of Akron, she taught courses in business and technical writing, American literature, Arthurian Legend, popular culture, and film. Her publications include a romance novel, a technical writing textbook in its 8th edition, a writing handbook for educators, an annotated bibliography of technical writing sources, a literary biography, a study of popular 19th century novels, short fiction, and some 30 articles on writing or popular culture. Her fiction writing centers on her interest in the Gilded Age, the Civil War, classic movies, and popular culture. She is a member of the Authors Guild, Romance Writers of America, and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
