GRAND RIVER HIGHWAY: ONE WOMAN'S JOURNEY TO AUTONOMY
A memoir of my youth, Grand River Highway traces my development as a writer beginning with a farm girl from Michigan being dropped at the onset of adolescence into the circus of the 60s in Southern California. Matriculating through love affairs that damage rather than enhance her, she finally achieves her freedom and escapes to "where her stories began."
"A fine writer." The New York Times
